Philadelphia Eagles 53-Man Roster Prediction & Depth Chart

The Philadelphia Eagles 2023 preseason is finally over, which means roster cuts are just around the corner.

In previous seasons, NFL teams made roster cuts in three different periods during training camp. However, team owners voted on a rule change at the 2023 NFL Owners Meetings to move roster cuts to one final deadline.

NFL teams must narrow their roster down to 53 players by August 29 at 4 pm ET. That means at least 37 players will be cut from the Eagles’ 90-man training camp roster.

Who Just Missed A Roster Spot?

The Philadelphia Eagles’ coaching staff will have some challenging decisions to make over the next few days. It was difficult to cut the roster down to just 53 players, as it meant a few players seemingly deserving of a roster spot would need to get cut.

Here are a few players that just missed out on our Eagles’ 53-man roster:

  • Mekhi Garner (CB)
  • Moro Ojomo (DT)
  • Tyree Jackson (TE)
