Former Philadelphia Eagles running back LeSean McCoy attended the team’s joint practice with the Indianapolis Colts on Tuesday evening. The Eagles’ legend came out of the final training camp practice impressed and shared some of his notes on Twitter. In particular, McCoy appeared impressed with the Eagles and criticized the Colts’ organization for poorly managing its best player.
LeSean McCoy: ‘Eagles Looked Good, Sheesh’
McCoy paid a visit to his old team on Tuesday, joining the Eagles for their joint practice versus the Colts.
The Eagles and Colts got into a fight with Derek Barnett and Jason Kelce being among the players mentioned in the scrum. Kelce apparently delivered a cheap shot to Colts’ defender Zaire Franklin, leading to a skirmish, while Barnett also got chippy with rookie quarterback Anthony Richardson.
Despite the extracurriculars and overall intensity, McCoy came away impressed with the Eagles.
“Was at the Eagles join practice today against the Colts and the EAGLES LOOKED GOOD sheesh,” McCoy tweeted in the afternoon.
The Eagles have a special group and many reporters have noted that they’ve been closer both on and off the field this season.

McCoy: Swift Could Go For 1,500 Total Yards
The franchise’s all-time leading rusher has given his stamp of approval on one of the Eagles’ running backs.
Last week, McCoy said that he believed that newcomer D’Andre Swift could rack up an impressive yardage total with his new team.
“SWIFT going for 1500 total yards,” McCoy tweeted on Aug 12.
Despite not starting the season atop the depth chart, McCoy believes that Swift will ultimately emerge as the leader of the Eagles’ running back competition.
McCoy Rips Colts For Jonathan Taylor Situation
McCoy also stood up for Colts’ running back Jonathan Taylor, who was linked to the Eagles’ in trade rumors earlier Tuesday morning.
The Super Bowl champion wondered on Twitter why the Colts won’t pay their star player, noting that a strong running game can only be beneficial for a young quarterback like Anthony Richardson.
