Roster decisions often involve weighing the potential of young, unproven players against the experience of veterans. Teams must decide if the promise of youth outweighs the reliability of a seasoned player.

Contract Considerations

Financial aspects also play a role. Some players might be cut due to salary cap constraints or contract structures that make them less feasible to retain.
