American tennis star Tommy Paul showed off his Philadelphia Eagles swag at the 2023 US Open following his victory over No. 21-ranked Alejandro Davidovich Fokina.
Paul showed up to his US Open press conference dawning a throwback Kelly Green Eagles hat. The hat had ‘Eagles football’ on the crown and a kelly green brim.

Tommy Paul Has A Special Young Fan At US Open
Paul has been trending up over the past year and he entered the US Open with a ton of momentum.
Last month, he beat No. 1 Carlos Alcaraz in Toronto, a sign that he is perhaps ready to win his first career grand slam.
After cruising through the first round, Paul struggled in his second match, falling behind two sets to none before bouncing back to win three straight sets and advance.
During the victory, he earned a special young fan, who returned for his third-round battle versus Davidovich Fokina.
The kid was locked in for the entire match and went viral for his reactions when Paul won a point.

Paul Comments On Young Fan At US Open
Tommy Paul went over to say hi to the kid, who is named Eddie after his match versus Russain Roman Safiullin.
“I was down 2 sets to 0 the other night,” Paul said after his win on Friday. “He was the only one being out there saying ‘I’m here all night.’ He really got me through that match…I’m not playing a match here without him”.
Eddie might be a bit more conflicted when rooting for Paul in the Round of 16.
Paul will take on fellow American Ben Shelton on Sunday.
