Jalen Hurts continues to take advantage of his newfound superstardom after landing an endorsement deal with one of the biggest online streaming services.
Just one week after unveiling his new endorsement deal with Nike’s Jordan brand, Hurts is set to become the face of Hulu’s new “Hulu has Live Sports” campaign.
The Philadelphia Eagles’ signal-caller will make his debut with the brand on a national television commercial that is set to premiere during the opening game of the 2023 NFL regular season.
Watch the commercial below.
When Will Hurts’ Commercial Air On TV?
Hulu will air the commercial during the Thursday Night Football matchup between the Detroit Lions and defending Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs.
The new 30-second commercial starring Hurts debuted today on social media and select sports media outlets, including ESPN, Bleacher Report, and more.
The Eagles quarterback will join a prominent list of athletes who have starred in the Hulu campaign, including Tom Brady, Joel Embiid, Devin Booker, Damian Lillard, Giannis Antetokounmpo, and Aaron Judge.
“I’ve seen the pieces that [Hulu] has put out over the years, and I thought it would be pretty cool to be part of that,” Hurts told Adweek.
Hurts Sees Hulu’s Vision For Fan Engagement
Under head coach Nick Sirianni, Hurts has developed a keen attention to detail and he’s carried out that level of intention in his endorsement deals.
The Eagles’ quarterback notices the work that Hulu has put in to develop a brand that has resonated with sports fans.
“The detail they have, the quarterback position is one that requires a lot of that. It’s always cool to see it from another side and a different profession,” Hurts said. “I’m excited to see the fans and their engagement and obviously get them watching Hulu. That’s the whole point of this.”
Hurts Has The Potential To Be An Icon In Philly
Hurts has been in the spotlight often during the offseason. He’s showcased his skills on camera in three different commercials.
In addition to his Hulu spot, he starred in a commercial for Teyana-Taylor’s signature ‘Jordan 1’ sneakers. Hurts also assisted with the reveal of the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup roster.
At just 24-years-old, Hurts has the talent and persona to become one of the faces of the NFL. But don’t expect the former Oklahoma quarterback to wait for his time to come. Make no mistake about it: Jalen Hurts has arrived and his time is now.
